PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
William E. Quackenboss, Jr. is Of Counsel for the firm. He represents clients in a wide range of commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on insurance related litigation. He has advised and represented domestic and foreign insurers and reinsurers in complex disputes throughout the country. William has been involved in numerous complex insurance coverage matters, including matters involving product liability, construction, first party property, and commercial automobile claims. William has also advised insurers on bad faith claims handling and their duty to defend their insureds. In addition, William represents national and regional companies in contract disputes, actions to enforce employee confidentially and non-compete agreements, and in defense of product liability and premises liability claims.
William’s professional experience also includes working as Assistant General Counsel for Swiss Reinsurance America Corporation. While at Swiss Re, he handled complex domestic and international casualty and property claims. He also drafted policy wording and was involved in the placement of excess insurance coverage. William served as the Law Clerk to the Honorable Neil H. Shuster, Superior Court of New Jersey, Presiding Judge, Chancery Division.
While attending New York Law School, William was an Articles Editor for the Journal of International and Comparative Law.
